Yay! An abbreviated cut of Expression was selected for the Lake Travis Film Fest. Harper Sharpe led a full crew to produce this ambitious film despite challenging Covid safety protocols. Kate Saltel’s decorated film Chupacabra Uncovered will screen, as well.
CHAP RECAP WINS
Congrats to the Chap Recap!! The crew won BOTH 1st Place and 2nd Place UIL/ILCP Individual Achievement Awards in Broadcast for Video Announcements. Alexi Peppas and Eliza Miskovitz took home Silver Medals for On-Air Talent.
SXSW SELECTION

Congrats to Director McKala Hansen and crew! It All Adds Up won ATPI’s BIG 72—a 72-hour filmmaking adventure. Westlake Film also scored 2nd place in Comedic Short, 3rd place in Dramatic Short Film, and 24-hour Artistic Video, Honorable Mention.

In the Austin Area Weekend Film Challenge, teams raced the clock to produce a film that met all contest requirements in only 48 hours. After an exciting tie-breaker, Westlake Film’s What Can I Say placed 3rd. Congrats to Alexis Counts and crew.
